I live in a small European nation called Belarus, which was formerly known as the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic, or Byelorussia, which means "White Russia".  It may surprise you to know that Belarus is located at Europe's geographical center.  We have a rich history and cultural heritage that dates back to the 11th Century, with the first humans having arrived as early as 40,000 years ago.  Some of the world's most brilliant and influential people claim their Belarusian roots.  The list is pretty long, so I'll only mention several to you, so that you know that Belarus is not as unknown as you might think it is!  Loius B. Mayer, the famous Hollywood film producer and co-founder of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Studios, was born in my hometown of Minsk, Belarus.  The famous and loved American composer and lyricist, Irving Berlin, who wrote "God Bless America" and "White Christmas, was born in Mogilev, Belarus.  American-born actor and film producer, Kirk Douglas's parents were immigrants from Gomel, Belarus.  Post-Impressionist artist, Marc Chagall was born in Vitebsk, Belarus.  Yitzhak Shamir, Menachem Begin, and Shimon Perez - all Presidents or Prime Ministers of Israel - were born in Belarus.  And finally, Olga Korbut, Maria Sharapova and Wayne Gretzky, who are well-known athletes from Belarus.

So, who am I?  And what is Dimanasus Prophecy about?  I'm a screenplay writer in the early stages of producing my first film called Dimanasus Prophecy.  Since my childhood, I've studied music and foreign languages. I've always loved historical novels, and creative writing; and for the past several years, learning digital art and videography.  Over the years, I've taught myself to play the acoustical guitar and piano. Reading, observing people and taking walks in the woods, all inspire me to write my own lyrics to accompany my music. Music, in turn, puts me in touch with myself and other people.

Dimanasus Prophecy is about us.  It's about who we really are as humans. It will also show us what we're doing to each other.  My Dimanasus Prophecy project has grown out of my life's experience in Belarus. I started writing the screenplay in 2005 to expose the rest of the world to the horrors inflicted upon upon young boys and girls in Eastern Europe, by the criminal human trafficking industry.  I also want to challenge people to rethink the meaning of love. Maybe we've got it all wrong.  Dimanasus Prophecy will introduce you to a higher meaning of what we commonly call "love."
